Located near Kite Lake trailhead with access to Mt. Democrat (14,148 ft), Mt. Cameron (14,238 ft.), Mt. Lincoln (14,286 ft.) and Mt. Bross (14,172). Want something a bit easier? The Pika loop is a 5 minute walk away with amazing views of the Mosquito range. Other fun activities include fishing on Sacramento Creek or at the beach in Fairplay, visiting historic South Park City, rafting in Buena Vista and Salida, sight seeing in Breckenridge. You will need an AWD or 4WD car with good tires in the winter.
